Rough ground is where a hunting vehicle earns its keep. Ruts, washouts, root crossings, creek banks and field edges all test the same thing: how well the wheels stay planted while you carry a partner, gear and, on the way out, game.Trail Buggy® is a purpose-built electric hunting UTV, and independent suspension at both the front and the rear is standard on every model. It is built for ground like this, not adapted from a golf cart.
What independent suspension means
Each wheel moves on its own. When one tire drops into a rut or climbs a root, that wheel reacts without throwing the whole vehicle. On a Trail Buggy®, the suspension uses A-arms and CV axles at the wheels.
Why it matters for hunters
- Traction: tires stay in contact with the ground more of the time, which helps when you are climbing a muddy hill or crossing a washout.
- Control: less jarring means you can keep a steady, low speed on ground that would have you stopping and starting.
- Comfort for passengers: a partner in the next seat and a load in the cargo box ride better when the ground is not flat.
- Less wear on gear: scopes, rifles and coolers take a little less pounding.
It works with the rest of the build
Suspension is only one part of how a Trail Buggy® handles rough terrain.
- 25" 8-ply UTV tires give you ground clearance and grip.
- Four-wheel disc brakes help you hold your speed on the way down hills.
- Strong low-speed torque from the Eco Battery 70V power system and Navitas AC motors helps climb the hills in front of you.
- Quiet electric drive means you are not announcing yourself on the way in.
2WD, 4WD and 4WD XL
The independent front and rear suspension is shared across the lineup. Choose by terrain:
- 2WD for established trails and open ground.
- 4WD for mud, hills and soft ground, with front-wheel assist.
- 4WD XL when you want the extended chassis and an extra row of seats.
Models are priced from $23,900 to $29,900. See the full features list for what is standard.
